IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation will offer courses in the supply chain and logistics sector in collaboration with training and placement firm Cambtech.
The course features an artificial intelligence (AI) platform, offering candidates a virtual corporate environment to carry out various financial transactions in real time.
The first batch will commence on January 1 and the last date to register for the course is December 25. Candidates may register at https://digitalskills.iitmpravaftak.org.in/courses.php.
The programme includes supply chain management, chartering practice, port and terminal management, and international liners trade. Candidates will receive a certificate from Cambtech and the knowledge partner IITM Pravartak on completion of the course.
Mangala Sunder, founder, Digital Skills Academy, IITM Pravartak, said the objective is to provide graduate students from Indian academic institutions and employees in multiple industrial sectors with the necessary skills and enable them to participate in competitive examinations in the supply chain and logistics sector.
Students will receive an experiential learning equivalent to about three months of actual corporate working experience.

IITM Pravartak Technologies, hosted by the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, is a section 8 company housing the technology innovation hub on sensors, networking, actuators, and control systems.
