Collector Rahul Sharma conducted a surprise inspection of the Tribal Welfare Ashram School for Girls in the district headquarters town of Bhupalpally on Wednesday.
The Collector visited the kitchen, inspected the quality of food served to the students and assessed the implementation of food safety and hygiene norms. He also interacted with the students and the staff.
The Collector directed the headmaster of the school to get the defunct reverse osmosis (RO) plant repaired. He promised that solar water heaters would be installed at the school soon. He also visited the computer room, library, dormitories and other facilities at the State-run residential school. Headmaster Rajarathnam and others were present.
