UDUPI: A 19-year-old youth reportedly sustained injuries when a tyre exploded at a vehicle workshop in Koteshwara. According to sources, the incident took place when the tyre of a private school bus was brought in for patching.
Youth injured in tyre explosion
The youth, who was inflating the tyre, was thrown into the air due to the force of the explosion. According to the police, the injured youth was shifted to a private hospital in Mangaluru. The entire incident was captured on a CCTV camera at a nearby shop and has since gone viral on social media. In the camera recording, the date of the incident is recorded as December 21. A case is yet to be registered.
