Israel used the American THAAD missile defense missile system against the Houthis on December 27 for the first time since it was deployed in October, Times of Israel reported. The THAAD was used to intercept a Houthi missile, but it’s unclear if the missile was successfully shot down, as per Al Arabiya. Iran had allegedly shot down a US THAAD radar during its October 1 attack on Israel. Watch this video for more information.
