BPSC exam row: Clash breaks out between Patna police and Prashant Kishor’s supporters

PATNA: A clash broke out between Patna police officials and followers of Jan Suraaj leader Prashant Kishor on Monday morning in Bihar, who had been on a fast unto death.
Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor, who had been on an indefinite hunger strike at Gandhi Maidan, was detained by the police.
Kishor started his indefinite hunger strike on January 2 in solidarity with students demanding the cancellation of the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) examination conducted on December 13 last year.
“Prashant Kishor was fighting for the people of Bihar, for the students. The government is afraid of this unity. Physical violence against him is condemnable. We don’t know where he has been taken. We are asking but no one is telling us where he has been taken,” said Prashant Kishor supporters.
