RPF jawan dies in Buxar road accident

Buxar: A 37-year-old Railway Protection Force (RPF) jawan died in a collision between a bike and a dumper near Kritpura village on the Buxar-Kochas state highway under the Muffasil police station area on Tuesday. The victim, identified as Sudhir Kumar Singh, was rushed to the hospital by locals but was declared dead on arrival.
Sudhir, a resident of Sangaraon village in the Rajpur police station area, was travelling to Buxar railway station on a bike with a co-villager to catch a train. According to police, the collision occurred due to dense fog on the highway when their bike hit a dumper near Kritpura village. “Sudhir lost his life in the accident while his companion sustained minor injuries,” the police said.
Buxar RPF inspector Deepak Kumar said Sudhir was the youngest of three brothers. “His family lives in Danapur,” he added.
