The White House is holding a press briefing to discuss the recently reached ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, facilitated by negotiations in Doha, Qatar. This announcement follows intense diplomatic efforts involving the U.S., Qatar, and Egypt.
The proposed deal will be executed in three phases. The first phase involves the release of 33 Israeli hostages currently held by Hamas. In exchange, Israel will release 50 Palestinian detainees for each female soldier freed, and 30 Palestinian prisoners for the remaining civilian hostages.
