President Donald Trump says he will be issuing an executive order forcing California "turn the valve back toward Los Angeles," in the wake of the deadly wildfires. The president was speaking to reporters in the White House after announcing a new partnership that has committed to investing at least $500 billion in artificial intelligence infrastructure on his first full day in office. Trump was joined by Masayoshi Son of SoftBank, Sam Altman of OpenAI and Larry Ellison of Oracle at the White House. "We’re demanding that they turn the valve back toward Los Angeles right now," Trump said. "It’s not even believable that they haven’t done it." Trump has repeatedly lashed out at his longtime political foe Gov. Gavin Newsom’s forest management policies and falsely claimed the state’s fish conservation efforts are responsible for fire hydrants running dry in urban areas
