Youth shot at in Bhojpur dist

Ara: A 20-year-old youth, Siddhartha Kumar, from Matiyara village near Koilwar in Bhojpur district, was shot at twice by bike-borne miscreants while playing cricket on Tuesday evening. He sustained two bullet injuries to his chest and was initially rushed to sadar hospital in Ara. Due to his critical condition, he was referred toPMCH, but his family opted to admit him to a private hospital in Ara where he is undergoing treatment.
Ara Sadar SDPO-2 Ranjit Kumar Singh said, “The incident appears to be the result of an old enmity between the victim and the assailants.”
