Hamas handed over four Israeli women hostages to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) on Saturday in Gaza City as part of a ceasefire agreement aimed at ending the 15-month-long Gaza war. The exchange took place amidst a large crowd of Palestinians and armed Hamas members. The hostages waved and smiled before being escorted into ICRC vehicles to be transported to Israeli forces. In return, a group of Palestinian prisoners will be released as part of the agreement.
