Donald Trump and Danish PM Mette Fredriksen reportedly held a 45-minute long conversation last week, Financial Times reported. The phone call was termed "horrendous" by European officials who were briefed about it. The American President reportedly renewed his demand for Greenland – an autonomous territory of Denmark but was met with fierce opposition from Fredriksen. This is not the first time that Trump has demanded to take Greenland territory as part of the US and has threatened steep tariffs on Denmark if it opposes his request.
