A private jet crash at Scottsdale Airport, Arizona, on Monday killed at least one person and injured others. According to officials, a midsize business jet arriving from Austin, Texas, collided with a parked Gulfstream 200 after its landing gear failed. Two people were rushed to trauma centers, while the airport remains closed indefinitely.
This accident follows a series of recent aviation disasters in the U.S., including a commercial jet and Army helicopter crash near Washington, D.C., a medical transport plane crash in Philadelphia, and a commuter plane crash in Alaska.
