A gas explosion at the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi mall in Taichung city’s Xitun district on February 13 has injured at least 12 people, according to local media. The blast, which occurred around 11:30 a.m. on the mall’s 12th floor, is suspected to have been caused by a gas leak during the replacement of a gas tank in the food court.
