In response to the tragic stampede at New Delhi Railway Station, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader, Atishi, expressed deep sorrow over the incident. She stated, "It’s a sad incident. Those who lost their lives, their families have been informed." Atishi visited the Lok Nayak Jai Prakash (LNJP) Hospital, where many victims were admitted, and directed hospital management to coordinate with AAP MLAs to provide necessary assistance to the affected families. She noted that 15 individuals were brought dead to the hospital, with two bodies yet to be identified, and mentioned that 4-5 patients are expected to be discharged soon.
