Chhapra: Saran district administration has implemented the e-office system to streamline operations at various govt offices. On Saturday, a one-day training programme was conducted for officials at the district, sub-division and block levels to familiarise them with this system. During the session, technical officers from department of information and technology provided a detailed demonstration of the e-office’s functionality. Speaking on the occasion, Saran DM Aman Sameer highlighted the benefits of the system. “This technique is valuable as it saves time, ensures transparency and enhances document security,” he added. Saran DPRO Ravindra Kumar said a step-by-step demonstration was given to employees to help them understand the process. He added that the system enables employees to process files even when they are away from the headquarters, ensuring efficiency while maintaining record security. As part of the training, participants were introduced to key aspects such as hardware, software and internet usage. Many departments in Saran district had already adopted this system before the training session.
