Patna: The fourth foundation day of Let’s Inspire Bihar was celebrated on a grand scale with people from all walks of life gathering in large numbers to take a collective pledge to rise above divisions of caste, creed, religion, gender and ideology. The movement is aimed at building a developed Bihar within a developed India by 2047.
The event at Bapu Sabhagar saw the participation of dedicated changemakers from across the state, including public intellectuals, educationists, spiritual leaders, university students, youth volunteers and social activists. People with roots in Bihar travelled from across the country and even from abroad to be part of the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Let’s Inspire Bihar founder and senior IPS officer Vikas Vaibhav said the movement had sown the seeds of a new revolution in the state – one that differs in many ways from past revolutions on this land.
“It has gained momentum and is now ready to take off after four years of establishment,” said Vaibhav. “Bringing change in Bihar is not an easy task; one has to pay a price and make sacrifices, which I have been doing for the last four years,” he added.
The Let’s Inspire Bihar campaign officially began on March 22, 2021 with the objective of reviving the state’s civilisational roots in education, egalitarianism and entrepreneurship. So far, it has successfully connected more than 1.85 lakh committed changemakers.
