Khagaria: Khagaria DM Amit Kumar Pandey invoked the Crime Control Act (CCA) against at least 18 anti-social elements to maintain peace, and law and order in the district. According to the sources, at least eight people with criminal antecedents, including Md Ashif and Murari Yadav of Bhagalpur, Praduman Yadav and Vibodh Yadav of Munger, and Priyam Yadav, alias Prem Kumar, and Anish Yadav of Samastipur, have been externed from the district under Section 3 of the Act. Similarly, 10 lawbreakers — Gulab Mandal, Shagun Yadav, Sawan Yadav, Krishna Yadav, Sarjan Yadav, Gulab Yadav, Saurabh Kumar, alias Saurabh Yadav, Ranjit Yadav, Rajiv Kumar, and Raghunandan Paswan — were externed from their respective police station area, sources added.
