Organised under the National Initiative for Proficiency in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy Bharat scheme, this fair is aimed at improving the teaching-learning method in schools. Subject teachers who have come here with their creative models in the fair include Hindi (62), English (61), Urdu (38), environmental science (74) and mathematics (80). All the models displayed at the fair would be evaluated by a team of 33 subject experts.
Inaugurating the fair at the SCERT campus, state primary education director Sahila said the innovative teaching-learning materials prepared by teachers would help implement quality education in schools of the state. “Children will have a clear understanding of the subject with the help of these models,” she said.

Speaking on the occasion, SCERT director R Sajjan appreciated the efforts made by teachers from different schools across the state in designing the student-friendly models. “By integrating engaging teaching methods and hands-on learning tools, we are working towards building stronger educational foundations for every child,” he said.
Vibha Rani of SCERT, in her presidential remarks, observed that the fair has provided a platform for the teachers to express and exhibit their teaching innovations and creative methods while enhancing their skills in interaction with other teachers across the state. “This fair will go a long way in making foundational literacy and numeracy classrooms more engaging, interactive and enjoyable,” she said.
