Chhapra: Saran chapter of the Indian Red Cross Society on Monday organised a health check-up camp at a preparatory school to mark the World Health Day. A team of doctors checked and advised about 250 students of this school. The camp was inaugurated by Dr Shashi Kant Parasar, speech and ear specialist. Dr Parasar said that continuous use of smartphones and long exposure to TV screen can cause harm to teenagers. Dr Partha Sarthy Gautam, a dental surgeon, found dental cavity in many cases due to unhygienic maintenance of teeth. Dr Onkar Nath, a local physician, reported abdominal pain, headache and loss of appetite in some students. On this occasion, members of the managing committee like Suresh Prasad Singh, Shahzad Alam, Satyendra Srivastava, Paul Ismail, Meera Ismail and teachers of the school were present.
