Golu, who sustained six bullet injuries, was declared brought dead by doctors at sadar hospital Ara, police said.
According to the family members, Golu was on his way to a cattle fair to buy a cow, when about six miscreants intercepted and opened fire at him, resulting in his death. The SHO said as per the preliminary probe a heated argument took place between Golu and the accused youths over some old dispute on Wednesday evening. Police are conducting raids to nab the culprits. Though the boy’s family has not registered an FIR yet, the police are investigating the case and making all efforts to apprehend the suspected accused,” the SHO added.
