US President Donald Trump declared that Boeing, a major player in the aviation industry, will produce the F-47, a sixth-generation fighter jet. The F-22 Raptor, the first fifth-generation fighter plane in history, will be replaced by the next-generation fighter. Air Force Chief Gen. David Allvin and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth were there when Trump made the announcement, and both offered additional details on the fighter plane.
