In a major escalation, IDF bombed multiple sites in Lebanon overnight on January 12, claiming that they were Hezbollah sites. IDF claimed that it targeted a rocket launcher site, a military site and routes along the Syria-Lebanon border. The strikes come just days before Donald Trump takes office on January 20.
Earlier, IDF struck an alleged weapons vehicle in Southern Lebanon on January 10. Lebanese Health Ministry said that five were killed and 4 hurt in an Israeli strike on January 10.
