Exhibition on military heritage to begin today

Patna: The Bihar Regimental Centre (BRC) at the Danapur cantonment will host a two-day seminar-cum-exhibition on the ‘Military Heritage and Culture of Bihar and Chhota Nagpur Jharkhand’ on March 21 and 22 as part of the ongoing Army ‘Udbhav’ project. The seminar is set to highlight the rich military history and cultural significance of the region with a special focus on Bihar and Chhota Nagpur Jharkhand.
The event will be inaugurated by Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, who is expected to grace the occasion in the presence of several distinguished dignitaries from the Indian Army, as well as other eminent personalities from various sectors. “The seminar aims to foster a deeper understanding of the region’s historical contributions to India’s military legacy and the unique cultural traditions that shaped its identity,” a senior officer of the BRC said.
The ‘Udbhav’ project, which focuses on preserving and promoting the cultural and historical heritage of the state, has been gaining significant momentum. The seminar is expected to further enrich the state’s understanding of its military heritage while enhancing the pride and recognition of its historical contributions. The seminar will take place at the BRC premises with all necessary arrangements in place to ensure a successful and impactful event.
