Tata AutoComp Systems Limited (TACO), a leading automotive components company serving Indian and global OEMs, has appointed Manoj Kolhatkar as its new Managing Director & CEO. Before rejoining TACO, he served for 13 years at the ANAND Group in roles such as Managing Director of Gabriel India and Group Co-COO, overseeing key corporate functions and joint ventures.
In a related development, Tata Elxsi, a subsidiary of the Tata Group, has partnered with Suzuki Motor Corporation to launch the *‘SUZUKI-TATA ELXSI Offshore Development Center’* in Pune. This center will focus on supporting Suzuki’s green mobility initiatives, including the development of lightweight designs, eco-friendly materials, and advanced engineering for electric and hybrid vehicles.
Tata Elxsi will collaborate with Suzuki on next-generation powertrains and software-defined vehicles while leveraging advanced simulations to improve time-to-market for energy-efficient solutions. This initiative reflects a shared commitment to sustainability and innovation in the automotive sector.
